Maybe you're in the market for a million-dollar home. Maybe you just want to look.

Either way, it's nice to dream.

This one talks about the number of houses.

This lot has two houses -- they need to be finished -- a large barn and 10 acres of lakefront property.

The asking price is $1.95 million; and, while that's too rich for most of our bloods, I suspect some millionaire out there with a taste for privacy and beautiful views of Lake Erie will snatch it up eventually.

(You may need to provide an email address to browse the Cleveland Home Finder web site.)

By the way, technically this home is on Mentor-on-the-Lake.

8776 Headlands Road: If you have the money, this home has a lot of special features -- starting with 250 feet of frontage on Lake Erie. (And, if you don't have the money, it's still free to look.)

The 7-acre lot also provides some privacy.

The 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom main house is 2,742 square feet has an in-law suite, an enclosed porch and other distinctive touches.

There's also a 68-by-32 foot out building that can be used as horse barn. (It's currently used as a hobby shop.)

Check out the photos on the online listing.

8815 Pheasant Run Lane: The lister has dubbed this home the sanctuary.

It has an all-glass sunroom with cathedral redwood ceiling, a fireplace in the great room (and another fireplace in the den,) a wooded 7-acre lot and a first-floor owner's suite with a glamour bath and a huge walk-in closet.

This house has 3 1/2 bathrooms and three bedrooms, though a first-floor den can easily become a fourth bedroom.

The seller is asking for $669,000.

5998 Cedarwood Road: At half of an acre, this Mentor-on-the-Lake lot is distinctly smaller than the previous homes listed. But it's hard to beat that lakefront view.

This property makes the most of its proximity to Lake Erie. It has a patio overlooking it and stairs that go down to the beach.

This contemporary ranch house has four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, including a master suite with a glamour bath and a nearby walk-in closet.

It also has a formal dining room and finished basement.

The seller is asking for $519,900.

9454 Stone Mill Drive: At $419,900, this is the most affordable home in this week's collection.

(Affordable, obviously, is a relative term.)

This house offers a lot of living space -- 3,000 square feet, plus an additional 2,000 in the fully finished basement.

It has five bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms. The master bath has a jacuzzi tub and a steamer shower.

Special features include an eat-in kitchen with a built-in wok, a large recreation room with full-service bar and a gym with exercise equipment and its own drinking fountain.

There's also an extra deep three car garage with its own sink and floor drain.
