Preliminary Plan for 49 Newell Creek Homes Approved
The homes will be west of Parker Place and east of Newell Creek Drive.
The Newell Creek community will make room for new development following a rule from the Mentor Planning Commission.
Preliminary plans for Newell Creek Development Co.'s to develop 49 single-family homes were approved in late June. The lots will be detached on 11.7 acres of undeveloped land.
The homes will be west of Parker Place and East of Newell Creek Drive.
According to the commission staff report, the lots will use the existing stormwater detention basin for Newell Creek, located at Johnnycake Ridge and Garfield roads.
Utility service will be extended from Walcott Way and Dovegate Drive.
A construction schedule will be included in the final plans.
