Watch: LaTourette on SB 5 & ObamaCare

The congressman draws a conclusion from the public's rejection of both Senate Bill 5 and the Affordable Care Act

At face value, both Senate Bill 5 (which restricted unions' collective bargaining abilities) and the Affordable Care Act (also known as Obama care) have little in common.

They would also seem to have diametrically opposed political supporters and detractors.

However, the voters of Ohio rejected both by a sizable margin.

Consequently, Congressman Steven LaTourette drew a conclusion from the Ohio electorate's actions while talking with members of the Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce Wednesday morning at as part of the Chamber's & series.

"I think the public is tired of having things jammed down their throats," he said.
