Today Is Election Day

It's Election Day.

The polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. today. (If you don't know where your polling place is, use the Lake County Board of Elections poll finder.)

Patch will be your election source with coverage that begins first thing in the morning with information on polling sites. We'll continue throughout the day with stories on voter turnout and a real-time blog that will pull together photos, tweets, stories and commentary about the presidential primary.

Patch local editors will be checking in at polling places to tell you through Facebook and Twitter whether voting is going smoothly and what your friends and neighbors are saying about the issues and candidates.

Throughout the evening, Patch local editors will monitor elections results as they are tallied at the board of elections and will provide updates with local reaction and context.
