President Barack Obama will make a campaign stop in Mentor just three days before the election.
According to a campaign statement, the president will speak at a "grassroots event" somewhere in the city on Saturday. A campaign official said more details will be available soon.
The Mentor stop is part of a lengthy weekend tour. Obama will also speak at events in Dubuque, Iowa, Bristow, Va. and Milwaukee on Saturday. He will visit Concord, N.H., Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Aurora, Colo. and Cincinnati on Sunday.
Obama planned to campaign in Akron on Wednesday, but canceled the event. According to whitehouse.gov, the President decided to remain in Washington D.C. to monitor Hurricane Sandy, and help coordinate the federal response and relief effort.
unemployment has stayed the same for the last 4 years housing ???????? what please give me that stat and the record profits ...please,.,. Fewer Americans are working than at any time in the past three decades. One reason corporations are so profitable is that they don't employ as many Americans as they used to and the ones still working are paid less ...........................so you have failed ........you are dismissed
And if you don't like overseas employment your candidate's vice presidential nominee voted against using a tax structure that would keep jobs here! YOU ARE DISMISSED! Fortune released its annual list of the country's 500 biggest companies this week, and it turns out to have been a good year for corporate America. In 2011, the Fortune 500 generated a combined $824.5 billion in earnings -- an all-time record, and a 16 percent jump from the previous year. The report echos others indicating corporate America is experiencing boom times. U.S. corporate profits returned to pre-recession levels, according to the International Institute for Labour Studies released Friday, hitting 15 percent of gross domestic product.

Practice you preach, partisan punch-drinker.
And Keith Best is another uneducated WAAAHHpublican who only gets his info from Beck, Hannity, Rush, Fox News, Gallagher et al because those who do -- as you and your ilk do with your comments -- is that you're completely ignorant to the branches of government and how they work. Have another swing WAAAHpublican punch.
BWHAHAHA. That's funny. So, what's your view of Congress, huh? I would presume it's the same for every single incumbent as it is for BHO, right? (here come the excuses in 3..2...)
Every voter needs to read this excellent article... Very well worth your time... http://spectator.org/archives/2012/11/01/benghazi-obamas-core-deceit/ These are pretty good as well: http://www.canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/50657 http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2012/10/25/CBS-Busts-Obama--and-Itself-Hidden-60-Minutes-Clip-Proves-White-House-Lied-About-Benghazi Romney/Ryan 2012
Could you please give us an idea when Obama plans to start this process?
I don’t want Romney’s version of change including: • A severely conservative Supreme Court. • Tax and jobs plan that doesn’t make mathematical sense as most experts say. • 1% percent control of the nation, • Leader who says “corporations are people”, and puts the needs of corporations before the people. • Higher taxes for middle class and lower taxes for the rich. • Medicare taken bankrupt in 2016, as reports indicate, • Overturn of Roe vs Wade and return women’s rights to the 1950s, • Leader who condemns 47 percent of Americans, • Leader with hot temper and controlling demeanor who seems eager to start a war against Iran. I’m very pleased to stay with reliable, proven Obama-Biden who are taking America FORWARD -- not back to the Bush years!
You people are blind. Turn of MSNBC! The thrill up the leg is gone!
The Anti-Alinsky's boss just informed The Anti-Alinsky that insurance premiums will be going up 12% next year! 12%!!! If this is change we can count on maybe The Anti-Alinsky should move to a less restrictive country, like Russia!
