Mentor Looks to Fill Vacancy on Board of Zoning Appeals

Residents have until Sept. 10 to apply.

Mentor is looking to its residents to fill the vacancy on the city's Board of Building and Zoning Appeals.

The vacancy was formed this month when member Matthew Donovan was appointed to fill the empty seat on city council.

Residents interested in the position must submit with a resume a completed Application for Commission/Board Appointment/Reappointment form from the city and a city-supplied consent form for a felony and misdemeanor criminal and civil judgment background check.

The unexpired, four-year term ends Dec. 31, 2014.

The deadline for submissions is 5 p.m., Sept. 10.
