Occupation: Retired Superintendent, Retired Paramedic/Firefighter

Education: Mentor High Graduate, Nursing graduate, Paramedic graduate, Lakeland Courses, Fire/Firefighter Certified, State Welder Certified (high pressure Boiler) Aircraft Mechanic certified.

Office Sought: Ward 1

Elected Experience: Four-term Mentor Ward 1 councilman, 4-term Mentor President of Council (elected by Council

Non-Elected Experience: United States Air Force, Honorable Discharge; NOPEC Board; NOACA Board alternate; Mentor Bicentennial Commission; Mentor Beautification Commission, and several other community committees.

Candidate Statement: My goal has always been to serve the Citizens of Mentor and maintain the quality of life and services expected.   I will continue to position the City of Mentor for the future. I take my responsibilities as your representative as an honor and privilege. 

What has happened over the last few years? We've maintained a balanced budget, promoted jobs and job retention, maintained quality services (police, fire, roads, parks,) continued infrastructure improvements, increased park land and added bike paths.

The city was voted one of the top 100 cities to live in.

And all this was done without tax increases or layoffs or furloughs for workers.
