Fiebig, Moran Talk About Local Economy At Mentor Chamber Luncheon

The candidates for the Lake County commissioner's seat introduced themselves to voters and shared their opinions on how to grow the local economy

The Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce held a candidates luncheon for all the people running for county offices last week at the LaMalfa Centre.

Democrat Judy Moran and Republican David Fiebig, both vying to become a Lake County commissioner, were among the candidates who spoke.

Moran and Fiebig are running to fill the chair of Ray Sines, who is not seeking re-election, this January.

Both Moran and Fiebig had an opportunity to introduce themselves at the luncheon. Moreoever, they were asked how they would stimulate the local economy despite the recent sales tax increase.
