Jennifer Krejci is scheduled to be sentenced August 27

A Mentor woman who is pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of assault in .

Jennifer Krejci, 47, was originally charged with felony counts of assault and drug possession. The drug possession charge stems from the police finding bath salts on Krejci when they arrested her, Mentor Police Lt. Ken Zbiegien said at the time of her arrest.

However, she was permitted to plead guilty to reduced misdemeanor charges of assault and drug possession on July 10, according to online court records.

Judge John Trebets chose not to sentence her immediately when she pleaded guilty. Instead, he asked for a presentence report. Krejci is scheduled to be sentenced August 27.

Krejci could receive probation or face up to six months in jail for each of her misdemeanor convictions.

Shortly before midnight on June 29, Krejci got a call from a family member who told her that her estranged husband was riding toward the 306 Lounge with another woman on the back of his motorcycle, Zbiegien said.

She got in her Ford Mustang and drove until she spotted the man sitting on his motorcycle in the bar's parking lot.

A witness told police that Krejci drove over the sidewalk, narrowly missed hitting another car and crashed into the side of his bike, Zbiegien said.

The collision knocked her husband onto the ground and caused the bike to topple onto his leg.

The falling bike also struck the 35-year-old woman who was standing nearby.

Krejci then got out of her car and cussed at her estranged husband as she repeatedly stomped on his head, Zbiegien said.

She then drove away as witnesses called the police.

Her husband had injuries to his right leg and head but he refused to go to the hospital. Instead, paramedics from the Mentor Fire Department gave him medical treatment right there.

The Krejcis are still legally married but live separately, Zbiegien said.

Mentor Police went to Jennifer Krejci's home where she admitted to striking his bike with her car, Zbiegien said.

"She said she just wanted to scare him -- 'rattle his cage,' as she said it," Zbiegien said when Krejci was first arrested.

Well, at least she didn't try to eat her ex-husband while high on bath salts.

Yes Tina, you're right! I feel bad for her daughter, but come on! I can't believe she isn't being charged with attempted homicide! What the heck? You hit your husband with your car, and then repeatedly stomp on his head and "may" wind up with probation?! This is not her first outburst!!!! Parents be aware!
