Chassidey Hahn has already been convicted of domestic violence twice before; now she faces a third charge

A Mentor woman who has already been convicted of domestic violence twice before now faces a third charge for fighting with her mom, Mentor Police Lt. Ken Zbiegien said.

Chassidey Hahn, 41, was with her mother and friends Sunday afternoon when she suddenly charged at her 59-year-old mother and began hitting her in the face, according to what witnesses told police.

A friend of Hahn's mother -- a 53-year-old woman -- tried to intercede and Hahn hit her too, Zbiegien said.

Ultimately, the friend's husband was able to restrain Hahn until Mentor Police arrived at the home to arrest her.

Hahn was drunken when they arrested her, Zbiegien said.

Hahn was charged with assault and domestic violence. Her domestic violence charge is a felony because she's been convicted of it twice before, Zbiegien said.
