Two Injured In Motorcycle-Versus-Car Crash

Two people were injured in a crash Thursday night that involved a car and motorcycle.

Mentor Police Sgt Mike Klosky said two people occupying an eastbound motorcycle on Mentor Avenue suffered injuries after the driver slammed into the rear of a car that was at a traffic light at 9:42 p.m. near 8505 Mentor Ave. Both were flown by medical helicopter to MetroHealth Hospital in Cleveland.

The driver and passengers in the car were not injured, Klosky said. The motorcycle riders' names have not been released.
