Police Search for Wanted Man, Arrest Duo on Trafficking Charges Instead

Officers found marijuana plants and paraphernalia while searching for a man wanted for theft

Mentor Police officers entered Queensdale Apartments Friday in search of a man wanted on a felony theft warrant, but ended up arresting two others by the time they left.

Trenton Ricci and Brandon Ramacciato, both 18, were arrested and charged for marijuana trafficking, possession of criminal tools and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to the police department's Facebook page.

Police knocked on apartment No. B224 around noon in search of Timothy Korb, who was wanted for theft. The wanted man was not in the apartment, but officers found marijuana plants in a closet and paraphernalia throughout the apartment.
