A man is accused of starting a tussle in a restaurant where Mentor police officers were eating Thursday night.
At about 11:45 p.m., the midnight shift officers were eating at Hooley House when a fight began between three men, according to the Mentor Police Department Facebook page.
One man continued to fight when the officers interceded so police stunned him with a Taser, according to police.
The man -- 26-year-old Jason Hougan of Cambridge, WI -- was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Hougan was drunk at the time of the fight, police said.
Hougan pleaded no contest and was found guilty of the charges Friday in Mentor Municipal Court.
He was fined $100 and sentenced to 30 days in jail. However, 28 of those days were suspended so they can be avoided if Hougan does not get into any more legal trouble.
