Man Convicted of Second Public Indecency Charge in as Many Months

Anthony Salvatore pleaded no contest to the second charge this morning in Mentor Municipal Court

A man pleaded no contest to his second public indecency charge in as many months.

Anthony Salvatore, 22, of Willowick, was found guilty of flashing a woman and touching himself Thursday in the parking lot outside of department store in Mentor.

Salvatore was in his car when he exposed himself to a woman shopper, Mentor Police Lt. Tom Powers said.

The woman called police and gave them the flasher's license plate number. Police used the plate to identify Salvatore. Then they arrested Salvatore, who admitted to flashing the woman, Powers said.

Salvatore was charged with public indecency. He pleaded no contest this morning in .

Salvatore was already convicted once this year of public indecency. Mentor-on-the-Lake Police arrested him Jan. 1 after he exposed himself while in his car at the parking lot outside of the grocery store.

Salvatore pleaded no contest and was found guilty to that charge Jan. 5 in Mentor Municipal Court.

Judge John Trebets set his bond at $3,000, which was not posted this morning.

His sentencing for both charges is scheduled for Feb. 22.
