Police: Man Caught With Cocaine, Viagra

A Willoughby man was charged with illegal possession of cocaine and Viagra after he was arrested early Thursday morning in Mentor.

A police officer spotted an occupied car at about 2:45 a.m. in the parking lot of the Queensdale apartment complex and, considering it suspicious, he approached, Mentor Police Lt. Tim Allen said.

Robert Bolin Jr. and Heather Haffey were in the car.

"(Bolin) was really nervous -- sweating nervous -- when the officer was talking to him," Allen said.

Bolin told the officer he didn't have anything illegal on him and declined when the policeman asked to search the car.

Consequently, the officer had smell the outside of the car and Titan reacted as if there were drugs inside, Allen said.

When police searched the car, they found a small bag of cocaine and some viagra pills in a pocket behind the passenger seat, Allen said.

Bolin also had a broken mini-flashlight with white residue on it hanging from his key chain, Allen said.

Police also found a bag of marijuana, rolling papers and a grinder in the car, Allen said. Both Bolin and Haffey said it was not theres.

Bolin, 51 was charged with two counts of drug possession. Both Bolin and Haffey were charged with misdemeanor counts of marijuana and paraphernalia possession.

Bolin was arraigned Thursday in Mentor Municipal Court. Acting Judge Jeff McGaffick set his bond at $23,000, which was not posted.

Bolin's next court date is scheduled for Aug. 23.
