Police Looking for Woman Caught on Video Stealing Purse from Buffalo Wild Wings

Mentor Police posted photos and a video of a woman who looks around and then takes a purse on surveillance.

Mentor Police sought the help of the department's 11,000-plus Facebook fans Monday to look for a woman accused of stealing a purse.

Police posted photos and a short video on the page that show a woman taking a purse that was seemingly left on a table at Buffalo Wild Wings. The woman is seen on surveillance video looking around for a few moments before grabbing the purse and walking away. She appears to be smiling in the still images captured as heads for the exit with a young man.

Anyone who thinks they can identify the woman should call 440-255-1234,  referencing report #13-12550 and asking for Officer Ric Smith. You can also send a private Facebook message. All information will be anonymous.

This is the second incident in less than one month where a person has been seen stealing from Buffalo Wild Wings. In mid-June, the department posted pictures of a man and woman who took a wallet that was left behind.

It barely took six hours for police to receive information on their identities.
