Mother Who Endangered Her Infant Child Sentenced to 360 Days in Jail

Mentor Municipal Court Judge John Trebets sentenced a 28-year-old mother Monday to 360 days in Lake County Jail for being under the influence of drugs while driving a vehicle with her infant child in October.
had pleaded guilty to child endangerment and operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI) of drugs last month.
Korb's boyfriend, and the father of their infant child , also had been arrested and convicted earlier for operating a vehicle under the influence and child endangerment. He, too, was under the influence of heroin while driving a vehicle with his infant child. Judge Trebets sentenced him to 173 days in Lake County Jail earlier this month.

The child is in the custody of Lake County Jobs and Family Services.
Judge Trebets also sentenced of Mentor-on-the-Lake to 180 days in Lake County Jail for petty theft for charges stemming from raiding his friend's mother's jewelry box during a house party in Mentor in August.

He stole five rings worth more than $4,000. Although Anglin sold them to a pawn shop, Mentor Police recovered four of the five rings. Anglin told police he lost the fifth ring.
