There have been six incidences of tire slashing in the Headlands neighborhood of Mentor in the last few days, according to the Mentor Police Department Facebook page.
The vandalism has always occurred in the early morning hours.
The tire slasher -- or slashers -- do not seem to be targeting anyone in particular and are thought to be picking their victims at random, police said.
Anyone who sees any suspicious activity is asked to call Mentor Police at 440-255-1234.
