Mentor-On-The-Lake Man Caught Peeking In Girl's Window

David Kelly was charged with attempted voyeurism and prowling

A Mentor-on-the-Lake man was arrested after he was caught peeking into a girl's bedroom, Mentor-on-the-Lake Police Chief John Gielink said.

A man called police after he saw a stranger looking into the window of his daughter's bedroom at about 6 a.m. Thursday, Gielink said.

When police arrived, the suspected voyeur -- 42-year-old David Kelly -- tried to run away. However, Kelly had left his car in the nearby Giant Eagle parking lot so he could not run too far, Gielink said.
