Man Admits To Raping 12-Year-Old Boy In Mentor

Andrew Brackman pleaded guilty to two counts of rape; he'll be sentenced May 6

While in court Monday, a man confessed to raping a 12-year-old boy on two occasions, according to The News-Herald.

At the time the rapes occurred, 55-year-old Andrew Brackman was living in a motel in Mentor.

Brackman is from Painesville but he befriended the boy while living in the city, prosecutors said.

Brackman faces up to 22 years in prison when Lake County Common Pleas Judge Richard Collins sentences him on May 6.
