Mentor Man Accused Of Trafficking Marijuana

Anthony Bucci also faces felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs and criminal tools

A man faces a trio of felony charges after Mentor Police arrested him Tuesday night.

Anthony Bucci, 31, of Mentor, was the passenger in a car that police stopped for making an illegal left turn, Mentor Police Lt. Tim Allen said.

When the officer approached the car, he smelled the scent of marijuana and Bucci admitted that he had some in the glove box, Allen said.

Police found four individually packaged baggies of marijuana, a glass pipe and an Advil bottle with prescription painkillers and muscle relaxants -- for which Bucci had no prescription -- in the glove box, Allen said.

Bucci was charged with marijuana trafficking, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to wear a seat belt.

Police also confiscated his cell phone and charged him with possession of criminal tools.

Bucci was arraigned Wednesday in . Judge John Trebets set his bond at $15,000, which was not posted.

Bucci's next court date is set for Sept. 13.
