Police believe that Stevison, 41, and the girl had sexual contact several times during the last seven months, Mentor Police Lt. Ken Gunsch said.

Sexual activity between an adult and a 15-year-old is illegal in Ohio, even if it's consensual, because it is younger than the age of consent.

Stevison's next court hearing is July 28. If convicted, Stevison would face between one and five years in prison.
