Mentor Detectives Arrest Pair of Suspected Drug Dealers

One suspect is also suspected of smuggling a bag of pills in the Mentor City Jail

Mentor Police arrested two men Tuesday night who are accused of drug trafficking, Lt. Tom Powers said.

Robert Webb, 21, of Willowick, and Greg Harris, 29, of Willoughby Hills, were arrested after police saw Webb selling oxycodone, Powers said.

Police searched Harris's car and also found a quarter-pound of marijuana that had been bagged for sale, Powers said.

Webb and Harris were taken to the . While there, an officer saw Webb try to hide a bag of pills underneath his mattress. When asked about it, Web admitted that he smuggled the bag in the jail by hiding it in his rectal cavity, Powers said.

Webb was charged with two counts of trafficking oxycodone and one count each of tampering with evidence and possession of criminal tools. The "criminal tools" in this case refer to a cell phone.

Harris was charged with marijuana trafficking, permitting drug abuse and possession of criminal tools.

Police also seizes Harris's car and $6,000 in money they found in it.
