Man Wanted in Summer Shooting has 'Lengthy Criminal History:' Fugitive of the Week

Anthony "Face" Willis has a criminal history that includes transporting children for prostitution.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force -- which recently expanded to include Lake County -- is looking for information on Anthony "Face" Willis, the task force’s fugitive of the week.

Willis is wanted for attempted murder by the U.S. Marshals and the East Cleveland Police Department, according to a release from the task force. Willis allegedly shot at an individual after a neighborhood disagreement in June, hitting the person multiple times. Willis is thought to have fired a total of nine shots during that fight. He has a “lengthy criminal history,” the release notes, including time in federal prison for taking underage children across state lines to take part in prostitution. 

Willis, 31, is about 5’11” and 210 pounds. He’s bald with brown eyes and has a variety of distinctive tattoos. These include praying hands in the center of his chest and a dollar sign in the middle of his throat.

Willis is thought to be hiding somewhere in the Cleveland area. He used to have an address near the 13400 block of 3rd Ave. in East Cleveland. 

The task force is offering a reward for information that leads to Willis’ capture. Individuals can call the task force with information at 1-866-4WANTED or text a tip to 847411 (tip411), keyword WANTED. Tips can stay anonymous.
