A man passed away Tuesday morning in MetroHealth Medical Center from injuries he suffered after he was struck by a train Thursday evening in Mentor.

Zlatko Rosandic, 52, of Eastlake, was working at one of his two jobs that evening. He was on his coffee break and went to cross the CSX tracks at the dead end of Industrial Parkway, Mentor Fire Battalion Chief Joe Busher .

Mentor Police are still investigating how the crash occurred. Authorities think Rosandic was crossing the tracks so he could get something to eat or drink from a nearby restaurant.
