Bryan Shepherd of Richmond Heights will serve his time at the Lorain Correctional Institution, according to the Lake County Common Pleas Court docket. He was sentenced Monday in Judge Joe Gibson's court.
Mentor Police observed Shepherd selling drugs or handguns in Mentor on multiple occasions between Jan. 28 and Feb. 7, Mentor Police Lt. Tim Allen told Patch. Shepherd crashed into a police car and gave an officer minor injuries in an attempt to flee.
Shepherd was convicted on three of 10 charges. All were for trafficking. He receives 58 days credit for time already served.
