Man Accused Of Stealing From Family For Drug Money
Joshua Jaworski is accused of trading his family's e-reader for money that he used to by prescription opiates
A Mentor man is accused of stealing from his family so he could buy drugs, Mentor Police Lt. Ken Zbiegien said.
Joshua Jaworski, 20, was arraigned on charges of burglary and theft Monday in .
Jaworski is suspected of sneaking into a family member's house via the bathroom window. The family member had already deadbolted their bedroom window because Jaworski had stolen from them before, Zbiegien said.

Police said that Jaworski took an e-reader, which is worth about $250, and sold it. He then used that money to buy suboxone, a drug used to help ween people off of opiates, Zbiegien said.
Judge John Trebets set Jaworski's bond at $103,000, which was not posted. His next court hearing is scheduled for March 12.

Jaworski was previously convicted of petty theft in 2009 and again in 2010, according to the Mentor Municipal Court online docket.
After his most recent conviction, he was sentenced to 180 days in Lake County Jail.
