Man Accused Of Exposing Himself At Mentor Tanning Salon

Man was previously convicted of other sexual charges, according to police

A Cleveland man walked into a Mentor tanning salon Saturday morning.

Joseph Leslie, 61 and the salon attendant -- a 20-year-old woman -- were the only people in the business at the time, Mentor Police Lt. Tom Powers said.

The attendant told police that Leslie stared at her for awhile without talking. Then she noticed that he had exposed and was pleasuring himself, Powers said.

Next, another man -- one of the salon's customers -- walked in. So Leslie stopped what he was doing and ran away.

The attendant called police, who found Leslie in a nearby store, Powes said.
