Crossbow Shot into Mentor Home

Mentor Police are looking for a person who shot a crossbow bolt into a Chase Drive home.

Mentor Police are trying to find who shot a crossbow bolt through a Chase Drive home last week and why.

The department posted a Facebook photo of the bolt that was shot into the home around 7 p.m. Thursday. The bolt was protruding nearly a foot into the home's dining room when police reported to the call.

Police searched the wooded area behind the home, but did not find any suspects.

Police identified the bolt as a black carbon fiber Easton Headhunter bolt with orange fletchings.

Anybody with information on the incident should contact
