Couple Convicted Of Child Endangerment For Chauffering Kid While High On Heroin

Rostislav Ryazanskiy and Ashley Korb were both also convicted of operating a vehicle while intoxicated

Maybe it was a copycat crime.

First, a man -- Rostislav Ryazanskiy -- while he was high on heroin, police said. Ryazanskiy was charged with child endangerment and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Then, Ryazanskiy's girlfriend and the mother of his his -- Ashley Korb -- . Police charged her with the same crimes as Ryazanskiy.

They also faced drug charges, including drug abuse and permitting drug abuse.

Since their arrest, both have pleaded guilty to the OVI and child endangerment.

Korb pleaded guilty Nov. 9 in Mentor Municipal Court and will be sentenced Dec. 12. Ryazanskiy also pleaded guilty to an additional charge of permitting drug abuse.

Judge John Trebets sentenced him to 173 days in Lake County Jail.

Korb still has felony charges of permitting drug abuse and drug abuse pending against her in Lake County Court of Common Pleas.
