Couple Accused Of Stealing More Than $8,000 Worth Of Jewelry From Jo-Ann Fabrics

A Lakewood couple is suspected of stealing more than $8,000 worth of jewelry from .

Stacey Pride, 32, of Lakewood, was arraigned on a felony charge of theft Friday. Her husband, Robert Pride, .

Robert Pride, often accompanied by his wife, repeatedly visited Jo-Ann to steal sterling silver and other baubles from the craft shop between September 23 and October 23, 2011, police said.

He is also suspected of stealing from craft shops in Rocky River and Bath Township.

Robert Pride was first arrested last year while stealing in Rocky River. He has since pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of theft.

Bath Township Police thought Pride fit the description of a suspect who had been shoplifting from its so officers talked to Pride and he admitted to thefts both there and in Mentor, Mentor Police Lt. Tom Powers said.

His theft charge in Lake County is still pending.

Stacey Pride was released on a personal bond. Her next court hearing is scheduled for Sept. 20.
