Concord Man Arrested in Mentor for Sixth OVI

Michael Murray faces felony OVI and drug possession charges.

Mentor Police arrested a 44-year-old Concord Township man earlier this week and charged him with his sixth OVI charge.

Police pulled over Michael Murray around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday on Mentor Avenue near Old Johnnycake Road for driving without his headlights on. According to the department's Facebook page, the responding officer believed he was intoxicated, which prompted the field sobriety tests Murray eventually failed. Police also found marijuana and prescription pills.

Murray faces felony OVI and drug possession charges, as well as a misdemeanor drug possession charge. His vehicle was also seized.
