Mentor Police 'Tentatively Identify" Suspect in Kohl's Shoplifting Incident
Mentor-on-the-Lake man arraigned for aggravated possession of drugs and petty theft
Mentor Police say they have tentatively identified a man in a surveillance photo who is suspected of shoplifting merchandise at 9581 Mentor Avenue.
However, police are not releasing the suspect's name because the case remains under investigation, said Mentor Police Detective Rich Slovenkay. Police received a tip Thursday after the suspect's photo was posted on Mentor Police Department's Facebook page.
Dustin L. Wilkinson, 27, of Mentor-on-the-Lake was arraigned in Mentor Municipal Court today for aggravated possession of drugs, Watson 749 generic Percocet, and for petty theft. He is also accused of stealing a pair of boy's Nike shoes from Gabriel Brother's store in Mentor.

Wilkinson's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 22.
Joseph Stebic of Mentor was sentenced Wednesday by Mentor Municipal Court Judge John Trebets to 120 days in Lake County Jail for possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a vehicle under the influence. His driver's license also was suspended for six months.

Stebic was pulled over by Mentor Police during the early morning hours of Dec. 14 for driving his pick-up truck without its headlights on.
