Foster is accused of robbing another man during a botched drug deal Friday afternoon in the parking lot of Advance Auto Parts, police said.

The victim said Foster pointed a gun at him and demanded his wallet and cell phone, Mentor Police Sgt. Dan Molnar said.

The victim called police, and officers arrested Foster about 15 minutes after the robbery at his home on the 8400 block of Dartmoor Road.

When Foster spoke to police, he said was only hiding a television remote under his shirt and pretending it was a weapon, Molnar said.

Foster was charged with aggravated robbery, tampering with evidence, trafficking in marijuana and possession of criminal tools. In this case, the "criminal tools" refer to the television remote.

Trebets set Foster's bond at $115,000, which Foster did not post.

If convicted of all charges, Foster could face between three and 21 years in prison.
