The crash occurred at about 8 p.m. near the intersection of Mentor Avenue and Heisley Road

Paramedics took three people to the hospital after a head-on crash at about 8 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Mentor Avenue and Heisley Road, Mentor Fire Battalion Chief Tony Yeropoli said.

Police are still investigating how the crash occurred.

The crash involved two cars. One car only had a driver and that person did not need to be taken to the hospital, Yeropoli said.
