Fast Facts about Issue 3 on the May 6 Ballot

1. Issue 3 is a renewal of a 10 year, 1.9 mill operating levy that represents over 70% of Lake Metroparks’ operating budget.

2. Issue 3 is not a tax increase. Renewal of the levy will not make property taxes go up for Lake County residents....

3. Early voting is available at the Board of Elections on weekdays between 8am and 5pm.

4. Lake Metroparks has preserved natural resources and maintained clean, safe parks in Lake County for 54 years while serving 2.4 million visitors annually.

5. Issue 3 allows Lake Metroparks to continue to provide Lake County residents with high quality parks and trails, educational programs, and preservation of our local natural resources for future generations.
