Cork Crafts: Waste No Part Of The Wine

I have had a growing wine cork collection for a number of years.

Yes, I enjoy drinking wine; but I also accrued some corks from local restaurants because I'm interested in creating things with them.

I recently completed this Cork Wreath using an easy to follow tutorial here. I used a styrofoam wreath, about 80 to 100 corks and a lot of hot melt glue.

I have also make cork trivets and bulletin boards by using a wooden tray or shadow box frames. Real cork works best for these projects rather than the newer style corks.

So have your wine and recycle those corks into a fun item to enjoy around the house!
