Ten years ago Google was operating out of a garage, Apple was in the skids, and the founder of Facebook was in high school.  What a difference a decade makes.

In 2020, employees from five generations, with formative experiences ranging from World War II to World of Warcraft, will be sharing the workplace.  Companies must prepare to manage their different needs, expectations, and attitudes.  According to the authors, Jeanne Meister and Karie Willyerd of The 2020 Workplace, "In four years Millenials - the people born between 1977 and 1997 - will account for nearly half the employees in the world."

This presentation will introduce the five generations in the workplace and identify three forces that are shaping the future of work.  HR's role in managing the generations will also be covered.  Amy will discuss predictions for the Workforce of 2020 as well as share initiatives HR can spearhead, new skills necessary for your HR team, and leadership skills that are critical for the 2020 leader.
