Holiday Family Fun with the Lake County Y

Everyone in the community is welcome to attend the annual Holiday Festival on Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 11am-2pm at the Lake County Outdoor Y in Perry.

Children and their families can spend quality time together decorating candles, painting ornaments and making holiday crafts, or snuggling close on a wagon ride. Hot food concessions will be open. There will also be a special visit from Santa. Please bring your own camera for photos with Santa.

“Winter in Ohio offers a whole new experience for children and their parents to get outside, enjoy the snow and spend time together. The woods at the Outdoor Y are exceptionally beautiful in the winter and we hope everyone comes out for some fun activities to celebrate the season with their family, friends and neighbors,” said Dave Duricky, Lake County Outdoor Y Program Director.

Only $5 per youth (Y members and nonmembers). Preregistration is requested but not required.

With a mission centered on balance, the Y gives families the chance to connect, have fun and spend quality time together with other families. The Lake County YMCA offers a variety of programs to nurture the potential of every child and teen, improve a community’s health and wellbeing, and inspire individuals to give back to better their community.
