FUREVER Movie Screening

DeJohn Pet Services is hosting a
screening of FUREVER – a film by Amy Finkel, on Sunday, September 15th,
2013 at 2:00 pm at the Atlas Cinemas Great Lakes Stadium 16 Theater at 7860 Mentor Avenue in
Mentor.  Furever is about the bonds that form between humans
and their pets, the dimensions of grief people experience when they lose a pet,
and the lengths to which they'll go to preserve more than a memory.

An official selection of the recent Cleveland
International Film Festival
, FUREVER is a feature-length documentary
that explores the dimensions of grief people experience over the loss of a pet.
It examines the sociological evolution of pets in the U.S. today, particularly
their position in a family unit, and how this evolution is affecting those in
the veterinary profession and death care industry.

In response to a growing number of
clients seeking pet loss grief support, DeJohn Pet Services is hosting this
screening event, which will be followed by a question and answer session with their
own Pet Loss Specialist, Sherri DiPietro and Dr. Paul Ramsey, D.V.M. of the
Animal Medical Center of Euclid.  “We’ve had an overwhelming response to
our pet loss support program at the funeral home. This event is our way of
giving back to our clients and all local pet parents,” said Ross DeJohn III,
owner of DeJohn Pet Services. The $3.00 ticket donation will benefit the Lake
Humane Society, whose staff will be present at the event with pets available
for adoption.
