Hundreds of jobs will be available at the seventh Annual Lakeland Career Expo on Wednesday, November 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Athletic and Fitness Center, 7700 Clocktower Drive, Kirtland, 44094, just south of the I-90 & Rt. 306 exit.

The event is free and open to the public.

Job seekers can meet employers and submit resumes as well as speak with representatives from local employment resource organizations and Lakeland career experts.

Over 60 employers are scheduled to attend this job fair. Opportunities will include full-time and part-time work in various occupational areas such as accounting, banking, business, criminal justice, customer service, direct care, engineering, financial services, health and medical, information technology, internships and co-ops, management, marketing, manufacturing, office administration, paralegal, sales, social services, welding, and much more.

More than 500 job seekers attended the 2011 Career Expo, including current college students, associate and bachelor-degreed candidates, and community members with relevant work experience.

To make the best impression on the employers, job seekers should:
• Dress like a professional who's ready to do business
• Bring several resume copies
• Research the companies to show interest in the organization
• Rehearse a one-minute "commercial" that highlights talents, strengths and attributes that would benefit the company

For additional helpful details, success hints, directions, lists of attending employers, types of available positions and links to the companies' websites, visit careers.lakelandcc.edu/careerexpo or call 440-525-7222.
