ABOUT A PROM TO REMEMBER: A Prom to Remember is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide an unforgettable prom experience for teens between the ages of 12 and 19 affected by cancer. Before and during the event, everything is provided for the teens, including tuxedos, dresses, hair and makeup, limousine service, prom photos, flowers, food, music, entertainment, and more. Local celebrities top off the evening with a special red carpet where the teens are the stars. This volunteer-run organization relies on generous donations and money raised from fundraising events like “Mix & Mingle” to hold their annual Prom for these children who may not otherwise be able to attend their own prom.
