Deepwood Idol

March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness month.  We are showcasing the unique abilities and personalities of 12 acts from the various LCBDD/Deepwood programs. Join us for a great show that will put a smile on your face. 
Our performers have practiced and competed throughout the year to participate in the Deepwood Idol show at the Great Lakes Mall.

Cameron Zwagerman,
Spirit Media will be the master of ceremonies. 
Dawn Kendrick from Channel 19
will be greeting contestants on the red carpet. Judges for this entertaining
event will be:  Tricia Ambrose, Editor of
the News Herald, Wayne Brodnan, Mentor Rotary, Lake County Treasurer Lorraine
Fende, Diana Lewis, Marketing Assistant of Great Lake Mall, County Commissioner
Judy Moran and Denise Zarella from Channel 19 This event concludes a month-long
celebration of “Developmental Disability Awareness” across Ohio. 
Lake County’s
support of programs, services, dignity, and respect for individuals with
developmental disabilities clearly embodies Ohio’s 2014 theme of, “Ability at Work”
Everyone has unique abilities, imagine what we can do together.
