The 6th Annual basketball game between the Broadmoor Bobcats and
the Area Coaches is this Monday March 24 at 7:00 pm. Doors open at 6:00 pm with
a minimum $3.00 donation at the door. 50/50 raffle tickets will be sold,
Mascots, High School Cheerleading Squads,
Wickliffe High Drum Core and so much more. All proceeds support Broadmoor School.
The Bobcats have practiced all year during their Friday morning games
against local teams. What they didn’t realize was that the coaches have been
scouting their talent all along. They are bringing better defense and plan to
work harder all around.
Representing the coaches will be: Tim Armelli of Chardon, Ray Carroscia of
CVCA, Dave Wojciechowski of Harvey, Al Russ and Matt Ridgeway of Kirtland, Matt
Moran and Mark Chicone of Lake Catholic, Pat Moran of Madison, Bob Krizancic of
Mentor, Dennis Riley and Paul Force of North High, Chris Poulos of NDCL, Al
Iacofano of Perry, Roy Infalvi and Erin Ertter of South, Dr. Catherine Kramer
of Lake Erie College, babe Kwasniak of VASJ and Bill Tilton who will be the
coach and play from the Hooley House.

Most high school and college kids come to watch their favorite coaches or
Cheerleaders but leave with a greater appreciation for individuals with
developmental disabilities. The game is not only about basketball but team
work, community, building self esteem and showing pride in your skills and
capabilities. On recent radio interviews
Charlie Malta and Tim Armelli said that this is definitely the ‘feel good’ game of the year.
