VetsNet, Burglary & Unemployment: A Week In Review

Catch some of the highlights from this week in Mentor

1. Every year, the community proves its generosity by donating to the 's Feed Lake County drive.

This year, to help feed the needy in Lake County.

The local chapter of the United Way capped the event by giving the food donations to more than 50 local food banks Tuesday.

2. The Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce has launched the Mentor VetsNet program, in which more than 30 local businesses and organizations will offer discounts to veterans, reserve and active duty service members.

Businesses that are part of the Mentor VetsNet will offer a 10-percent or comparable discount for the goods and services they offer to veterans that are members of the VFW, American Legion, AmVets and other veterans organizations, as well as any current active or reserve service members.

3. Rose Santos -- -- Tuesday in Lake County Court of Common Pleas.

She faces up to 240 years in prison when she is sentenced in June.
