Ride for 9-11, Air Rifles & Road Rage: Around the Patch

1. The California firefighters who are riding to New York City to honor the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks .

The firefighters, riding under the "Ride for 9-11" banner, stayed at the  last night and will leave for Pittsburgh in the morning to continue their 3,300-mile journey.

2. Twinsburg Police were called to a case of road rage when  on Aug. 23.

The victim told police a car had been tailgating him and when they were stopped at the intersection of Darrow Road and Glenwood Drive, he told the man behind him to "back off." The driver of the following car then threatened to shoot him. While the man said he didn't see a gun, he drove away and called police.

3. A game of basketball in Solon ended when a 13-year-old shot an 18-year-old with an air rifle.

Police say the man got into an argument with a 13-year-old, who left and came back with an Airsoft rifle, which he used to shoot the man in the thigh four times,
