Puppet Fun Coming To Mentor Library

Nancy Sander, of the Emmy Award-winning "Hickory Hideout," will perform Wednesday at Mentor Public Library

The will host a special story time this Wednesday with Nancy Sander, a professional puppeteer and screenwriter from the Emmy Award-winning show "Hickory Hideout."

Sander, along with her trusty puppets, will perform "The Man Who Kept House" from 2 to 3 p.m. at the library's main branch.

The folk tale tells the story of Farmer MacDonald -- a man who decides to switch jobs with his wife for a day. So while his wife tends the fields, the farmer must care for a cranky baby, a feral cat and a cow that might not be all there.
