Mentor Celebrates Veterans Day

Residents and city officials gathered in front of the flags on Civic Center Boulevard to honor veterans

A group of residents and city officials gathered on Civic Center Boulevard Sunday morning to honor veterans for their contributions to the country.

The VFW and American Legion hosted the city's brief Veterans Day ceremony. Doug Koman, Commander of American Legion Post 352, helped organize the event and U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Bob Zonneville spoke in front of the flags on Civic Center near Center Street.
