Crafts and activities will begin at 1 p.m. An Easter egg hunt for children four and younger will begin at 2:30 p.m.; the egg roll races for age groups 5 and 6, 7 and 8, and 9 and 10 will begin immediately thereafter. Prizes will be awarded for each age group.

"We are pleased to again host the Easter Monday egg roll,” said Sherda Williams, the park's superintendent. "This is a great outdoor activity for children and is always educational and fun.

"It is also fitting to have the event here since President Garfield participated in the 1881 White House egg roll during his brief tenure in office."
