Fun Factory Coming to Great Lakes Mall this Weekend

Kidgits Club members will have a chance to play educational games, rock out to music, draw and have fun a bunch of different ways

Children will get a chance to punch in at the Fun Factory this weekend at Great Lakes Mall.

They will have a chance to play interactive games, check out some new toys, rock out to music and more from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday in the  concourse.

The different attractions are designed for kids from 3 to 12 years old. They can:

  • jam like professional recording artists with Paper Jamz guitars, drums and microphones.
  • play with new interactive toys like Gogo's Crazy Bones or Lite Sprites. Crazy Bones are collectible figures that can be played with like jacks or marbles. Lite Sprites allow children to play with color and light with the wave of their wand.
  • check out Moshi Monsters, which are pet monsters that guide children through educational games.
  • express their inner artist by making crafts or coloring.

The Fun Factory has spent the summer touring malls that are owned by Simon Property Group, which includes Great Lakes mall.

The event is open to all kids. However, while there, families can sign up for the Simon Kidgets Club.

“Great Lakes Mall has long been a favorite destination for Ohio-area families, and with the Simon Fun Factory, we are very excited to offer parents and kids yet another event that gives them family fun time," said Renee Lanzara, the mall's director of marketing.
